Born in Macclesfield, England in 1978, James Edward Bott attended Sandbach School in Cheshire, before progressing to Newcastle-under-Lyme Art School to study Illustration. He then moved to Manchester, obtaining a degree in Design & Art Direction. In 2004, James was appointed to produce ads for the Midlands-based, multi-award-winning agency, Ad One, where he worked along side a seasoned team of ex-Saatchi, JWT and Ogilvy & Mather directors, on campaigns including Michelin, Soreen, Twyfords and Honda. James established the advertising consultancy Honest Creative in 2007, and has since worked on campaigns for brands including T-Mobile, Johnson & Johnson, The Co-Operative and United Utilities as well as for a plethora of educational, financial and local governmental accounts for key agencies across the North West and the Midlands.
